Miriam Valdez
Miriam Valdez founded United Title & Escrow, LLC in 2014 with more than experience, she founded it with conviction.
With over 21 years in the title and escrow industry across Virginia and Maryland, Miriam understood early on that closings are never just transactions. They are pivotal moments in people’s lives, and they deserve to be handled with clarity, strength, and intention.
Entrepreneurial at heart and disciplined in execution, Miriam built United Title on principles she lives by protection, integrity, clear communication, and teamwork. She didn’t build a company to compete; she built one to set the standard. Her path to entrepreneurship was shaped by resilience and a strong sense of responsibility. As a first-generation Mexican immigrant, Miriam understands what it means to build something through hard work and conviction. She carries that perspective into her leadership, approaching every decision with gratitude, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
As a licensed title insurance agent and hands-on CEO, Miriam remains actively involved in the company’s operations, supervising transactions and ensuring that every file reflects the standards on which the company was founded. It is not uncommon for clients or partners to find her personally engaged, because excellence, in her view, is never delegated.

Lilian Rodriguez, Esq.
Lilian Rodriguez, Esq. has served as legal counsel to United Title & Escrow since its inception, providing trusted legal guidance and oversight that strengthens our foundation. With decades of experience in real estate law, she brings depth, stability, and seasoned judgment to every transaction.
Lilian earned her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from The College of New Jersey. She is licensed to practice in Virginia and Maryland and is an active member of the Virginia State Bar and the Maryland State Bar Association. In addition, she serves as a volunteer attorney with the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, reflecting her commitment to service beyond her practice.

Giselle Castro-Marquez
Giselle has been an integral part of United Title & Escrow since May 2016. With nearly a decade of dedicated service, she plays a key role in preparing settlement figures and coordinating the financial components of each transaction with accuracy and consistency.
Known for her professionalism and steady presence, Giselle ensures that clients clearly understand their numbers and feel confident as they approach closing. Her attention to detail, combined with her courteous and respectful approach, contributes significantly to the seamless experience our clients and partners expect.

Brenda has been a valued member of United Title & Escrow since October 2017. As Senior Processor, she plays a critical role in managing files from contract to closing, ensuring that each transaction is thoroughly reviewed, organized, and prepared with precision.
Patient and level-headed, Brenda approaches every file with focus and discipline. Her steady demeanor allows her to navigate complex details with clarity, while her thoughtful communication supports both clients and partners throughout the process.

Angie Castro
Angie joined United Title & Escrow in August 2025 and has quickly become a valued addition to the team. As Junior Processor, she supports the transaction process by opening files, gathering documentation, coordinating communication, answering incoming calls, and ensuring each closing is prepared with organization and care.
Often the first point of contact for clients, Angie takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional environment while maintaining efficiency behind the scenes. Her enthusiasm for learning and strong work ethic are evident in the way she approaches each task with focus and dedication.
